A great wine, result of the pressing of grapes left to dry in grape-drying houses for at least four months. This well-structured, full-bodied red straw wine comes from cold maceration for a precise period of time, to then explode in a vigorous fermentation at the controlled temperature of 24 °C. It is barrel-aged for three years.

  • Grape: variety Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella
  • Colour: vibrant ruby red tending to garnet
  • Bouquet: strong rounded aroma with notes of dried fruit and spices
  • Palate: rounded, with hints of cherries and dried prunes
  • Food: matches game and rich dishes; excellent also as a meditation wine
  • Serving temperature: 20 - 22 °C; decanting is recommended at least one hour before serving
  • Alcohol: 14%

Dry, red wine from the area of Valpolicella.Harmonies full of the flavors already in the beginning, with a long and unmistakable finish of juicy cherries, red fruits and fine traces of mature plums and bitter of chocolate in the end.

Antica Vigna is produced by the Furia family who, with more than 30 years of experience, runs the property Salvaterra in San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of the wine region Valpolicella. The cultivation takes place with the greatest consideration given to the environment and nature, which is obviously given the name Salva Terra (save the earth)!
